November 2025

We had so much to be grateful for this past November. The boys started the month with making altars for dia de los muertos. Carter made one for his great grandpa Forrest Jefferson and Jefferson made one for his Uncle Dave who passed away in 2023. We had a week of festivities for Jefferson's birthday- a back to the future movie party-with neon glow sticks, birthday morning gifts, and a dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory. Carter played Junior Jazz this season and so we got to go to a Jazz game- nose bleed seats but we got to see the Jazz win- lots of slam dunks and 3 pointers.  Mom, Angie, and Mary finished the Wicked- For Good saga- this time no tears. Jefferson was ecstatic when he beat Mary in a game of pickleball. We raked up and played in all of our leaves- one time raking ALL. Bella especially loved playing in the leaves with the boys. On Thanksgiving we had our annual turkey bowl- Carter lasted longer than ever, and for the first time Bella didn't get banned- she just quietly watched from her swing. We decorated for Christmas, Jefferson said "it's like all the ornaments are memories of our lives." Ahhh, such a sweetie. And the boys wrote their letters to Santa and delivered them. Carter made us laugh this month when he said "I had a dream that me and Goggy were in war with John Cena..." We filled a gratitude jar and read the "gratitudes on Thanksgiving, so many things to be grateful for!
