All because two people fell in love...

This past weekend we celebrated my parents 30th anniversary.
They have gone through a lot in the past 30 years
and it was fun to see them happy and holding hands and in love.
We gave them a "then and now" picture frame
And Laura and Jon took them for a photo shoot for a "now"
picture while Angie, Brad, and I prepared a nice dinner.

We had a lovely dinner with mom's china.

Angie made this pretty card.

And Laura topped it all off with a Pineapple Upside Down cake!
Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad

Summers are for Campfires

This past weekend we took advantage of how close we are to the mountains and loaded up some marshmellows, wood, lighter fluid (Brad's favorite thing) and all of our personal documents needing to be shredded over the past year and headed up the canyon for a Campfire night. This was a lot more fun than shredding paper after paper and going through a couple shredders while we are at it. The scenery was beautiful and burning documents has a romantic appeal that doesn't make sense until you try it. I think we have found another Dennis family tradition.

Fun with music

This summer we have had lot's of fun with music. Brad loves his guitar and I am enjoying the piano and singing. We have been asked lots of times if we do duets and we found one that fits us well- though it is a little cheesey. Hopefully it will come up.
