October 2016

It's autumn time, it's autumn time... we started the season with Witchfest.

Jefferson and I spent the last of our airfare credit and went to Minneapolis and Wisconsin for fall break, Jefferson had not yet met his aunt Stacie and uncle Jodie. So we stayed with them for a few nights then took a little drive to visit our family in Wisconsin. We went to Mall of America with Lindsey and Stacie and Jefferson LOVED the little rides. He kept saying more... more.

We were lucky to be there on Tanner's 18th b-day and Jefferson and I took him to lunch. We tried the famous juicy lucy- best cheeseburger I have ever had!

We found Jefferson street on our way to Wisconsin.

We walked in the woods and crunched leaves. We saw some wild turkey.

We visited Grandma & Grandpa's grave.

We walked around the lake and enjoyed the fall weather. I had never seen Wisconsin in the fall and it was just beautiful.

For Halloween we were Ninja Turtles

And we resumed our donut making tradition, but this time our garage made the perfect venue.

Jefferson will be 2 years old in just a few weeks. He is such a sweet good boy. He got so many compliments flying to and from Minnesota. He liked to say bye to everyone on the plane and they loved it. His new phrase is "ready set go...." and then he jumps or slides or runs. He knows lots of words and now even numbers. Elmo is still his favorite and he loves marble works at Grandma and Grandpa J's, He has really started liking painting and coloring and tracing things. He loves chasing the football around and rolling down the hill at our park. He is mamas helper picking the garden and makes sure to pick red tomatoes and throw the green ones back- ha ha. He is always making us laugh.
