This past weekend we went to our first rock concert together. Slash and Miles Kennedy at The Depot. Brad leaned over to me after the concert of all the greatest Guns & Roses hits and said "you are the greatest wife ever." I am :)

Millionare Dinner

This year for Christmas Dad gave all of the kids a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse. We doubled with Angie and Ryan and had a ritzy night out with appetizers and smoothies and whatever looked good to us on the menu. Because we are not millionares our dining experiences are usually not this way. Thanks dad, it was a great night and we had a grand time.

The next day I attempted another apple pie and worried about it the whole time! I even called mom Dennis to make sure my crust edges wouldn't burn. I was delighted when it came out looking like this and even more delighted when it tasted delicious. I'm still going to practice the art of pie making this year until I feel absolutely confident in my pie making abilities. (Brad is thrilled that I have taken up perfecting my baking abilities!)

Our good friends The Beus' will be leaving to have an adventure in Guam for the next 4 years. They visited us this past weekend to say Goodbye. Brad gave a mini concert, we watched a funny movie, I got to cuddle with two cute little boys, we made cookies and just had a good time. They left us an open invitation to visit them in Guam so maybe we will have another international adventure in the next 4 years. We will miss you guys! Take care!

A New Daily Dennis Tradition...

So far this year we are loving our daily dose of Banangrams from
Mom and Dad Dennis. It has become an after dinner tradition.
We try to be the first to solve the daily puzzle though on some we do
take turns and try to be good sports:)
