September 2016

This September we enjoyed the fruits of our garden. Lot of tomatoes, zucchini, and artichokes. Jefferson really likes helping mama and dada in the garden. He helps pick the little tomatoes and pops one in his mouth now and then. He surprised us with how much he loves tomatoes, he will eat them like an apple.

Fall brings football and we have enjoyed a few tailgates and games with our friends. Go Utes!

After 4 weeks in his cast Jefferson's arm was all better and he had his cast removed. When they took it off he looked at his arm and hand in awe. He kept saying "hand hand" and then when he missed his cast he tried putting it back on. He was super happy to have both hands to eat his sucker though.

Jefferson got to pick out his first pumpkin from our sweet neighbors pumpkin patch. He didn't quite like that the pumpkin was so heavy and awkward to hold, he would rather hold a zucchini.

And we ended September with our annual German lunch at Oktoberfest. Jefferson really liked spaetzla and all of the dancing and music.

Jefferson is almost 2 and has said his first sentence "don't wanna eat/swing/nap/nigh nigh". His little personality is in full swing. Complete with giggle fits just because, pouty faces to make a point, and observant curiosity. It is amazing how fast children develop in all areas. He is a pro now with any play ground no matter the size of the slide. We love all of the parks around us in daybreak. This time of year the weather is perfect and we are spending as much time as we can outside running around playing.
