Brad and I are now back home living our generally typical life in our cozy condo. He is working hard on his dissertation and looking into future job opportunities while I am running around elementary schools trying to help everyone with their problems. It's quite nice to get back into our routines but we have still found time to play. One of the many things we missed about
Another thing we missed this summer was all of the festivals and parties (4th, 24th, Lagoon, ect) so we have been trying to hit up as many festivals as we can in our crazy schedules this time of year.
We literally stumbled upon Swiss Days in Midway and sinfully enjoyed two huge scones with honey and jam.
One of our traditions is to celebrat our first date anniversary each year which was at the India Festival at the Harri Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. We enjoyed delicious indian food, interpretative dancing, the parrots and llamas, and the traditional play taken from Bhagavad Gita. This was our third time going to this festival together.
We found out about the Brazilian Festival just in time to meet up with Angie and Ryan for some great food and some amazing capoeira.
