October 2018

This October we took our first "tiger family trip" to St. George and visited Aunt Marce. We had so much fun on family hikes and Brad was relieved to see that his precious Tripple T.Js is still holding strong. It was busier than we have ever seen Zions and the shuttle driver said that it was the light season! But it was perfect beautiful southern Utah fall weather. Jefferson LOVES hiking and even found a turtle in the wild. He also LOVES skipping rocks and who would have thought but Brad is a pro with that skill. This year we embraced the season of Halloween. Jefferson loves to decorate for seasons and so we got some lights for our porch and had fun with decorating pumpkins with stickers. We dressed up as "The Farmer in the Dale" as a family and did lots of fun fall activities with family and friends.  Jefferson is almost 4 years old and drew his first picture ever- a family portrait. He loves doing puzzles, art projects and building anything he can. He is in swim lessons and advancing quickly to stroke positions. He is a little fish in the water and after the initial separation anxiety outburst and a whole lotta behavior intervention he is doing great letting us go. It seems like every time he faces something new his separation anxiety flares up. Carter is 4 months old and a healthy happy little bug. He loves his ball and is getting more and more animated. The other day he laughed for all of us and we couldn't imagine a sweeter sound.
