Our February could be summed up with a few words- basketball, skiing, hockey, valentines love, and birthday fun. Carter dutifully followed the instructions of his kindergarten teacher to study what happens to a cup of water outside overnight and insisted on sending her a picture in the morning to prove he did it. If his teacher asked him to do anything he would do it. We were able to go to another Stars game and see amazing basketball. We went on a day trip to Logan and introduced Jefferson to ceviche, skiing, and pupusas. He loved it all and can't wait to go skiing next year. We watched the Superbowl with family and everyone lost interest after half time so Carter and Clara played a duet for us. We made our valentines and this year Jefferson made a back to the future valentines box- with all 3 Deloreans from all 3 movies. And we all laughed when Carter asked "Mama was I born in the future." When we were fixing our couch and moving around pillows, Bella decided perching on the top of all the pillows is her favorite new spot. We had a random huge snow storm (for this year) and so the boys got to go sledding at the park, but the next day the snow had melted, so they were glad they got to play in it. Carter came home with a crown and announced we have gone to 100 days of school. We gave Valentines in the morning and Bella knew something exciting was happening so she sat so well for a picture and was thrilled with a pink ribbon- it seems like she loves anything pink. After helping with valentines parties, we had pizza for dinner and then went to a hockey game. It was the perfect valentines. We watched cousins for a few days and had a pancake party. And the last week of February we celebrated Mary's b-day with The Old Spaghetti Factory, skiing, pickleball and a smoothie date. 42 years and loving it.
