March 2025

March is all about basketball in our family. Another stars game with a fantastic win and a Jazz game, in the highest seats imaginable, with a disappointing loss kept us busy. Carter came home one day from kindergarten quite distraught saying we forgot to celebrate green eggs and ham. So we mixed up some green eggs and watched some Dr. Seuss raps. We got our first tulips for the season- thank you Trader Joe's and brightened up the mornings. We played all the games at Math night and played a who can say hi to the most people game. It is so fantastic to see the boys have so many friends at their school. We got a little more snow in the valley and Bella got to have her first sleigh ride. We got all the inside spring cleaning done- and Bella found a new dog bed with all the coats on the floor. We celebrated St Patties day with Irish music, hiding the gold, and new tradition- Grasshopper shakes and happy meals. It put a smile on everyone's face. And of course we filled out our March madness brackets. Jefferson put BYU going all the way and has had a blast watching their games. Mary put Maryland- keeping with the namesake tradition, and Brad put Florida- boring #1 pick. Carter lost another tooth and got $5 from the tooth fairy (the tooth fairy didn't have enough change) and announced to us all "I'm getting rich!" He also impressed us with his great writing and has started writing sentences in his journal. Jefferson announced he now wants to be a doctor- so his career dreams have gone from: scientist, firefighter, police officer, president, pro soccer player, and now doctor. Brad left us the end of March for a Europe adventure to see one of his favorite bands. And the boys had fun for their spring break with bounce houses, museums, climbing, swimming, and friends. Ready for spring.
